Delete your ourfocus account
ourfocus is made by SelfApp Labs. You can delete your account at any time, for free.
In the app (fastest)
- Open ourfocus and go to Profile.
- Tap Delete account, tell us why if you like, and confirm.
You're signed out right away. For 15 days you can restore the account by signing in again; after that it's deleted for good.
Without the app
Email support@ourfocus.app from the email address you signed up with (or the Google account you used), with the subject Delete my account. We'll confirm it's you and delete the account within 7 days.
What is deleted
Right away:
- All your sign-in sessions on every device.
- Your upcoming bookings. Any partner you were matched with is re-matched.
After 15 days, unless you restore the account:
- Your email address, name and login (password, Google or Apple sign-in).
- Your purchase record at our payment provider, RevenueCat.
What is kept, and for how long
- Past session records (times, focus minutes, check-in results and notes) stay in our database, linked only to an anonymous ID that can no longer be connected to you. Messages with the AI partner are never kept: they are deleted a few minutes after each session ends.
- Safety reports you made or that were made about you are kept, linked to that anonymous ID, so we can act on abuse.
- If you tell us why you're leaving, that answer is kept without any link to you.
- Database backups containing your old details are overwritten within 14 days of the final deletion.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account doesn't cancel a Premium subscription. Cancel it in Google Play: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → ourfocus → Cancel.
